‘Between us, Within us’ is an exploration of the invisible barriers we create between ourselves and others. Focusing on the dynamic between four individuals, the series unravels the tensions that exist in human relationships, examines the complexities of human connection, and considers the paradox of intimacy – how we crave closeness yet often stand in our own way, becoming the very obstacles to the connections we seek. For the viewer, the series is an invitation to reflect on their own barriers – those they build, those they break, and those they have yet to understand. In confronting these boundaries, the work does not offer resolution but rather a space for contemplation – a recognition that within every distance, there is also the potential for connection.
